Which fits the way you cook?
Mob is built around discovering and cooking its own recipes. Drizzlelemons helps you collect recipes from sources you find and cook from an ad-free view. Both offer tools for planning and cooking; the choice depends on where you find recipes and how you prefer to pay.
Choose Mob if you want a chef-created recipe library with meal plans, portion adjustment and shopping lists. Choose Drizzlelemons if you want to bring your own recipe links or text into a personal cookbook with one-time upgrades.
How much does Mob cost?
Mob is free to download. Its website labels some recipes as free, while Premium promotes full library access and its premium tools.
The US App Store listing checked on 15 September 2026 explicitly labels the following plans. These are US iOS prices, not a UK web quote.
| Offer | US iOS listing | Billing |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly Premium | US$9.99 | Recurring monthly |
| Annual Premium | US$59.99 | Recurring annually |
| Trial | Seven days advertised | Renews into the chosen paid plan unless cancelled |
Web, Android, regional and promotional offers can differ. Check the total, currency, renewal terms and trial eligibility on the screen where you subscribe. A lifetime purchase was not advertised in the reviewed App Store listing.
How Drizzlelemons charges
Try one conversion each day without an account. A free account starts with 5 lemons; keeping your anonymous trial recipe uses one of them. New conversions and AI edits each use one lemon. Saving an already-converted recipe has no separate charge.
One-time top-ups start at $1.99 for 20 lemons. The optional Lifetime plan is $39 while the founding offer is available, with a regular price of $69. Lifetime removes lemon charges for conversions and AI edits, subject to fair-use limits. Check pricing and Lifetime availability for the current offer.
The recipe scaler and unit calculatorsare free and do not use lemons. Compare your likely usage with the other app's free plan before deciding to pay.

Is the Mob app free?
Mob is free to download, and its website labels some recipes as free. Full library access and premium features are promoted through Mob Premium. A free download or trial is not the same as permanent free access to every feature.
Is Mob Premium a subscription?
Yes. The reviewed App Store listing describes recurring monthly and annual Premium plans. A one-time lifetime option was not advertised in that listing.
Does Mob have serving adjustments and Cook Mode?
Yes. Its current app description advertises portion adjustment, step-by-step cooking and keeping the screen awake. Recent release notes also describe Adapt Recipe. These are not exclusive Drizzlelemons features.
Can Drizzlelemons import every Mob recipe?

Is Drizzlelemons always cheaper?
It depends on your usage and the other plan you choose. Drizzlelemons offers one-time top-ups from $1.99 for 20 lemons, plus a Lifetime plan at $39 while the founding offer is available ($69 regular price). Its free allowances are not unlimited, and another app's free plan may cover your needs.
