3. Data Storage and Security

We store your data securely and take measures to protect it from unauthorized access. Your recipes are associated with your account and are not publicly accessible unless you choose to share them.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of service providers to run Drizzlelemons:

• Stack Auth — user authentication and sign-in sessions.
• Supabase — the database that stores accounts and saved recipes.
• Vercel — hosting, plus cookieless anonymous analytics.
• Stripe — payment processing, involved only when you start a checkout.
• Anthropic — processes recipe text to power the conversion feature.

These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. The Cookies section below explains what, if anything, each one stores in your browser.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, modify, or delete your personal information and recipes at any time through your account settings.

6. Chrome Extension

The Drizzlelemons Chrome extension is subject to this privacy policy. When you use the extension:

• The extension only accesses the URL of the current tab when you click the extension icon. It does not run in the background or monitor your browsing.
• Recipe URLs are sent to Drizzlelemons servers solely for the purpose of extracting recipe content.
• An authentication token is stored locally on your device (via Chrome storage) to keep you signed in. No passwords are stored by the extension.
• The extension does not collect browsing history, personal communications, location data, or any data beyond what is needed to extract and save recipes.
• No data collected through the extension is sold or transferred to third parties.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

Drizzlelemons does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies — no ad networks and no trackers. Here is everything the site keeps in your browser:

• Essential cookies. Stack Auth, our sign-in provider, sets session cookies to keep you signed in. If you start a checkout, Stripe sets fraud-prevention cookies (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid). These exist only to make sign-in and payments work — the site sets no other cookies.
• Local storage.Your recipes, shopping list, weekly plan, theme and other preferences are kept in your browser's local storage so the app works instantly — and offline — even without an account. It is never used for tracking. Your analytics choice below is stored the same way.
• Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and anonymous: it stores nothing on your device and cannot follow you across sites. It helps us count visits and see which features get used. You can switch it off here at any time:
